M2 Day 28 Back in Action!!

Today I went back into the gym and really pushed myself beyond my predetermined reps. I actually tried to match my first rep count every time. This ensured that I was going to have a great workout. I love pushing myself to the limit. You feel great at the end knowing that you emptied your commitment in the gym.

I’m also going to start blogging more sporatically. I’m trying to get my website up and running and finding that I’m not getting enough time in after work as I usually get home late.

Of course I’m still doing my mission but I’m just needing more time in my life at the moment to focus on my business. Having your own business as I’m continually learning doesn’t just stop in the work place. It’s an ongoing thing.

M2 Day 28 Back to Running along the beach!!

After work today I went straight to the beach and did my H.I.I.T Cardio. The first 12 minutes were great as I was running down breeze but then when I turned back a big wall of wind collided with me. I ploughed through it. It was tough but I made sure I continually charged through it. It was refreshing as it is quite chilly. I didn’t have a shirt on as well as this was a good reason to go really hard as to really get the blood pumping through. I had strange looks when I had finished as they probably couldn’t believe I didn’t have a shirt on but I had warmed myself up so much from the run that I was really comfortable after slaughtering myself. I knew though it wouldn’t be long until I got cold again so I got back to the car and went home.

M2 Day 26 Bring it on!!

Today I had a brilliant day in the gym! I went through my warmup first then launched myself into the weights. I’m really looking forward to going to the gym now. It’s probably part that it is so cold now so it gets the blood pumping but most of all I’m enjoying the activity, the movement and the great changes. I think also after freeing myself of the time concept, I’m able to stay in the moment and go as hard as I can!

Can’t wait till tomorrow!!

M2 Day 25 Running out of my skin!!

Today I did my Steady State in freezing conditions mind you, in absolute style. I can’t believe how much my running has improved. I feel like entering into a marathon later on. I just seem to keep powering on for the duration of the run. I can’t wait for tomorrow!!

M2 Day 24 Not focused on time

Today I finished late from work and went to the gym. I’ve decided to put abs on the same day as my scheduled workout at the gym. I will then just do cardio on the other days. Of course this does add more time on the gym however now instead of getting fixated on time and wanting to get back on schedule, I decided to space out from it. I decided that I don’t care how long it takes but I’m going to get it right. I decided to emotionally free myself from it. It was a great feeling. All I focused on was doing the workout perfectly. It was great because I felt I had power in my life instead of getting controlled by the constraints of time. What is wanting to get back that 5 to 10 minutes earlier. What does it really achieve?

M2 Day 23 Downers and Uppers!!

Hi today I had some news that made feel a bit depressed. It has been something that I’ve kind of dealt with but then keeps coming back. It did affect me in the moment but knew I just needed perspective. I then went for my scheduled run after work and it’s amazing how doing something positive makes you focus better. I’ve come to many resolutions while running. It’s amazing what positive exercise does.

I think it’s the fact that when people do get depressed and sad they tend to stop everything which makes you focus on the problem even more. But when you exercise even when something challenging comes a long in your life, it’s like you’re sending a message to your subconscious that nothing will slow me down. Exercise gives you a feeling of being proactive and thus giving us the power to control our lives. I’m realising more and more that exercise and healthy eating must be the foundation of your life. The more you respect your body the more confidence you will have and thus enabling us to make effective decisions on a daily basis. The decisions we make really do shape our destiny.

Today I decided to have a rest day as I also had a holiday from work. I decided to go to the movies and watch the Terminator. It was really great!! There was so much action. It was so much better than Terminator 3. I’m updating my website tonight, should be fun!

M2 Day 21 Tried a Different Gym

Today I worked out at another gym as I’m looking to change as the end of my contract is coming up for my current one. I’m working out a deal to advertise my business on the plasmas in the gym I’m looking at. The only challenge I’m having is exactly how much traffic there will be coming through the doors. It’s also not as big as my current one with considerably less gym equipment. He assured me to that I will always be able to access pretty much any gym equipment while I’m working out.

That’s good for my workouts as there will be little competition to do what I want to do but not good in a business sense as its obvious that there musn’t be a lot of people coming in and therefore less people viewing the plasmas with my advertising. On a plus side I had a great workout. I am realising though that my left is considerably weaker than my right. This is because of a wrist problem that I’ve had with my left hand and therefore have probably strengthened my right over my left. That is a shame. When I use dumbbells I also only ever do hammer curls as I can’t hinge my left wrist up. Tomorrow is a holiday which will give me a great chance to revise my workout plan and develop more strongly, my business ideas.

M2 Day 20 I can’t believe my running!!

Today was another sensational day with my running!! I did H.I.I.T Cardio which was just phenomenal. No Matter how fast I went I was able to maintain confidently. It’s a really great place to be at the moment. Can’t wait for the weight lifting tomorrow!!
